As part of Scotland’s Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology, Pink Saltire organised the first ‘Pink Heritage Day’ event in the Forth Valley region.
The iconic Stirling Smith Gallery & Museum was the ideal backdrop, sitting in the shadow of Stirling Castle, for the event on Saturday 18th February 2017.
With participants welcomed by the Beat That Samba Band, there was no mistaking the sounds of history resonating through the city!
The event was opened officially by Stirling Provost Mike Robbins and visitors were offered the chance to read the LGBT History Timeline, speak to the team from Our Story Scotland and hear from Terence Higgins Trust and Police Scotland. There was also a chance to view one of the Pink Saltire Originals short films.
