Kirkcaldy Town House was the venue for the very first Fife Rainbow Lunch on Monday 27th March 2017.
The event was organised by Pink Saltire as a day to bring together LGBT activists, allies and local organisations to learn more about equality and diversity issues in Scotland.
We were privileged to hear from keynote speaker, Jordan Daly of the TIE Campaign, who spoke passionately about the ongoing issue of bullying and harassment of LGBT people in schools, and outlined some of the positive work being done by teachers and pupils across the country, including at Kirkcaldy High School.
Guests were offered lunch in return for sharing their opinions on work happening in Fife and where we all need to improve.
The event was funded through the Big Lottery Fund Celebrate program.
