A rainbow ceilidh has raised almost £3000 for Waverley Care, the HIV and Hepatitis C charity.
The event was held in March at The Assembly Roxy in Edinburgh, with sponsorship from MHD Law and Wood Mackenzie. The popular event featured a night of entertainment, jigs and reels with The Veritable Ceilidh Club.
Alex Sharp, Events Fundraiser at Waverley Care said:
“We are delighted to have raised such a fantastic amount from the ceilidh. Each year we rely on the support of the public to ensure people affected by HIV and Hepatitis C receive the care they need.”
MHS Law Partner, Lorraine Tollan, said:
“It was great to see so many people putting their dancing shoes on to raise money for Waverley Care. I’m delighted the ceilidh was a success and glad that MHD Law was able to provide support for it.”
