90’s dance music legend Rozalla is to headline Grampian Pride in Aberdeen this year.
The event, to be held on 25th May, will also see dance duo Booty Luv take to the main stage to entertain the expected crowd of over 6,000 people this year.
Rozalla had hits in the 1990’s including ‘Everybody’s Free’ (reaching number 6 in 1991) and ‘Are you ready to Fly’. Meanwhile Booty Luv have had success with a number of club tunes, including debut single ‘Boogie 2nite’ (reaching number 2 in the UK singles chart) as well as ‘Some Kinda Rush’ and ‘Don’t Mess with my Man’.
Pride organisers have made the announcement with less than 3 months to the second Grampian Pride event, building on the huge success of last years march and festival.
The dance acts will be joined on stage by Lynx – Random Order and the winner of the Grampian’s Got Talent competition, to be announced on 24th March.
Event Manager, Deejay Bullock, told us:
“I am thrilled that both Rozalla and Booty Luv have agreed to headline Grampian Pride 2019. We promised this year was going to be bigger and better and with 4 headliners on the main stage, the line-up is going to be amazing.”
He continued, “We couldn’t do [this] without our core sponsors and supporters – BP, Shell, Chevron, Codona’s, NESCol, Wood, Spirit Energy, ASCHA, Siberia, CMS Law, Myprideflags, Carmelite and Brewdog.”
Grampian Pride also have opportunities for volunteers to help on the day, with a host of roles to keep the event running smoothly and to keep the public safe. Anyone interested in finding out more about volunteering can check out the Grampian Pride website here.
